Representatives of the H2Nodes project hosted a webinar with key stakeholders to present progress and lessons learnt across H2Nodes sites, along with findings of major project reports on the status of hydrogen for transportation along the North Sea-Baltic Corridor, and conclusions for policy-makers.

Riga City Council has joined the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, which aims to ensure transition to clean technologies by 2030 as well as establish an investment program for carbon-free projects in various sectors. 

 Use of battery powered busses requires new knowledge and experience, which can be gained by running practical tests in the urban traffic. Therefore, “Rīgas satiksme” has expressed the wish and invited the producers of electric busses and hydrogen fuel cell busses to collaborate in order to test environmentally friendly vehicles by transporting passengers on various routes in Riga.  

H2Nodes partners took part in a workshop discussion on best practices and innovative approaches for the deployment of light duty vehicles as part of the H2ME projects meeting.
